Join
us on March 9th at The New Gallery for a silkscreen workshop with TNG
Main Space artist, Kev Liang. No sign up is required, drop by whenever
you’d like between 12PM-4PM. You can pull your own silk screened tote
bag or print to keep, featuring a unique design created by Kev Liang,
Teresa Tam and Paul Giang that consider the connections between YYC and
YEG Chinatowns. These designs consider Chinese cultural identity and
history within Alberta through iconic food items. This event will take
place in The New Gallery’s Main Space, surrounded by Kev Liang’s artwork
as a part of his exhibition jiā yóu! We
will have snacks, tea, and beverages. Tote bags and prints will be
first come first serve while supplies last and guests are invited to
bring their own materials to print on if they wish to. Admission to this
event is free and all are welcome.
