The New Gallery would like to introduce you to Tiger, our CFO (Chief Froggy Officer). Tiger is a tree frog and he lives in The New Gallery’s Resource Centre. This November he wants to get groovy, and he would like to invite everyone to TNG’s Kareoke Fundraiser!
Tiger’s New Groove, Kareoke Fundraiser
Where: The New Gallery Mainspace (208 Centre St SE, T2G 2B6 Calgary, AB)
We’re hosting our first in person fundraiser for this year, Tiger’s New Groove, a karaoke fundraiser! Inspired by our CFO’s (Chief Frog Officer) dulcet tones, we’re inviting you to join us in singing our little hearts out in the TNG Main Space on Thursday, November 3rd from 7PM to 10PM.
We will have some excellent mood lighting, a variety of snacks and candy, beverages, a groovy photobooth and as always, complimentary sober cocktails. To pick a song, it’s a toonie and an extra 2$ will bump you up in the queue.
This event is open to members and invited guests. We are strongly encouraging folks to join the guest list through the link in our bio. TNG is still strongly recommending masks for the safety of our artists, staff, and community.

Accessibility: Our main entrance is wheelchair accessible and has no steps to enter. Our front entrance door is not automatic. Our bathroom in the main space is wheelchair accessible, has grab bars by the toilet and has a changing station. Our bathroom is gender neutral and uses unscented soap. All door handles within the center can be operated with a closed fist. We don’t use salt on our walkways, though some of our neighbors do. We welcome service animals! The walkway in front of the building is slanted at the northern end, and has a ramp going upwards on the south end of our block.
Accessibility: The Resource Centre will be open to provide a low sensory / de-stimulation area for guests. Please talk to a staff member or volunteer for access to The Resource Centre during the event.
