SHOPPERS Art Mart

May 15th - 17th, 10AM-6PM

@ The New Gallery, 208 Centre St S

Welcome to Shoppers Art Mart, a joyful jumble of prints, artist editions, stickers, publications, apparel, and more! Where shopping isn’t just shopping - it’s supporting the arts, funding creativity and snagging some seriously cool stuff at the same time. Shoppers Art Mart lasts for 3 DAYS ONLY! So come through, bring a friend and treat yourself while supplies last!

All proceeds from this fundraiser will support The New Gallery in the research, creation, and exhibition of social and political creative practices from artists at all junctures of their careers while enabling public engagement with contemporary art through exhibitions, publications, residencies, lectures, and community collaborations that serve to invigorate our audience’s experience of contemporary art and culture.

Please consider coming out to Shoppers Art Mart to show your support so we can continue to provide free and accessible programming to our community!

In celebration of The New Gallery’s 50TH ANNIVERSARY we created 50 custom, limited edition TNG candles in collaboration with Milk Jar!

The New Gallery’s custom candle is a cozy collection of warm scents, including Cedar, Vanilla, Tobacco & Sea Salt AKA Hygge (hoo-gah). Recreating the heartwarming feeling that we get when you come to visit the gallery <3

Seriously, there’s only 50! Come on down to Shoppers Art Mart to snag yours before they sell out! $40 each.

TNG will also be selling off our stock of Opus brand frames. These frames were generously donated in 2019 by artist Arthur Nishimura, who was a part of the inaugural exhibition at our organization—then called the Clouds & Water Gallery and Visual Production Society—when we opened on March 15, 1975. If you’re anything like us, you have a ton of great art around your home, waiting to be framed… this is your chance!

Hand made ceramic wall altars, carefully crafted and detailed by our own Operations Co-Director, Alexa Bunnell!

A selection of the finest stickers, plus 3 beautiful brewery inspired prints by our board member, Lyndsay Wasko! (Mice Type Stationary & Publishing)

A delicious selection of devious prints by our Programming Co-Director, Winona Julian!

More Coming Soon!
