NEOCraft is a fully integrated system of philosophical thinking tools allowing art producers to proactively engage with systems of power by utilizing the expressive potential of art for personal and social gain. Focusing on the creation of meaningful art experiences, the philosophy of  NEOCraft does not propose specific outcomes, but re-imagines the values of professionalism in free-market economies with a special interest in creating ties between contemporary capitalist nations and developing arenas.

Using the aesthetics of life in global capitalism,  NEOCraft  seeks to empower local emerging artists by summoning the professional sales pitch, the conference tour and the self-help program—setting the stage for the egalitarian expansion of art discourse.

NEOCraft emerged in early 2013 from a period of research conducted at the Banff Centre’s “Our Literal Speed” residency.  Over the course of seven weeks, a series of public lecture-performances were held at the Max Bell Auditorium, accompanied by an ongoing program of private consultations offered to Banff residents, faculty and staff.
