Art Along the Bow
Art Along the Bow is a new outdoor art festival presented by The New Gallery (TNG), transforming the Bow River pathway into a flowing corridor of creativity. Connecting Calgary’s cultural landmarks and natural landscapes, the festival merges art, nature, and community through installation, performance, and interactive projects. It invites audiences to experience the city through the rhythm of the river and the energy of downtown life.
Art Along the Bow is a temporary outdoor public art initiative supported by RISE UP Calgary, presented by The New Gallery (TNG), taking place in Downtown Calgary along the Bow River Pathway and RiverWalk from June 1–30, 2026. The project features site-specific art installations, guided walks, and a limited number of small-scale performances designed to animate the downtown riverfront.
